This edition of the Kaslo Hotel, while having the heritage character of Kaslo Village, is completely new. Overlooking Kootenay Lake, the Kaslo Hotel opened in February 2009 after extensive renovations that began in 2006.

Due to the state of the lake and low fish population, the 2015 Rainbow Derby is cancelled. We will re-evaluate moving into 2016. Once the lake has had a chance to recuperate.
